Hey Ronnie, I enjoyed the podcast. Did anybody ever tell you you'd have been a great DJ? But you did have practice at it in school with your buddies, didn't you? ha ha I sure am glad you decided to make records instead! It's neat that you recorded Pure Love on Elvis' birthday. Must have brought good luck. And in regard to that $5,000 high note, smart men do listen to their wives! Good job. I can't hear the song, My Life, without thinking of Sue Warnke. Thank you for recording that song. Thought from the start you sounded a little stopped up. Hope you get over all that mess before you go on the road this weekend. Can't wait to see you in Pigeon Forge in a couple of weeks! The podcast was a lot of fun and I look forward to more. I'd like to hear the background on Woman In Love since it's one of my all time favorites. It would be fun to hear more about the Jim Reeves tribute album and why you did that one. And what do you think about those disco songs you put on the Images album? I love them! Oh, and Bob still thinks you should release The Future's Not What It Used To Be as a single. I don't know if he's ever told you that or not.
Take care and see you soon,
Janet Phillips

Ronnie - Yes, keep the podcast comming. Especially the history behing the songs/recordings. Your "true' fans love this stuff. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during the decision making and recording process. One day I'd love to share with you the influence you've had in my life. Funny, most of it not musically related but just pure drive and perserverance. My friend, your voice rings and keep the high C's comming! That sound is the "magic" we love. Hope to see you soon, my pal.. David Underwood - Atlanta.

Ronnie - I have always said I would love to sit down with you for just 30 minutes for a cup of coffee and talk to you about your music and some of the history of some of the songs you have recorded. This is the next best thing - I have all your recordings and I got to see you this past weekend in OK and a picture with you. What a treat for me! I posted it on my FB Page!! Please keep up the Podcast because it is so great to hear the history and also your humor. I agree with Bob Phillips -and I love all of your songs but I guess my favorite is the Mickey Newberry song - Future's Not What It Used To Be - he was a tremendous writer and who better to sing it than you. I love your Gospel album - you did a fantastic job on all of it. Thank you for this Podcast - you did a great job on this one and keep 'em coming. We true fans crave that Milsap Magic!
God Bless You!

Dear Mr Milsap,
I just finished listening to your
podcast and must say that it almost
sounds as if you had been a DJ for
years! As a former Dj with some 25
years experience in radio, beginning in 1959, I have some idea what i'm talking about. In
any case, I look forward to the
next one. Do you have any idea when you might do it? I would assume that with Concert dates, etc., it is probably something that you have to make time for.
In addition to sharing the first name "Ron" we also have something
else in common as I hae been a piano player since about Age 7
with 16 years of Classical Lessons
under my belt. Would very much
like to discuss piano as well as
Music with you at some future time.
Anyway, enough for now. Keep up the great work. Ron Porter

Hi Ronnie-
I must admit, I can never get tired of hearing these songs! and the stories behind them are even better! Benjamin still 'thinks' your #1, and I caught him singing Stranger in My House the other day. I had it playing on the laptop and had went to do something and came back and he was fixated on the dvd playing that particular song! He also likes the latest CD project.
I must say what an uplifting selection of songs you have on this one. I find myself playing this one more and more these days. We recently lost my mother in law, and these songs help to get through the rough days.
THANK YOU for recording this CD! We all love it in this household!
Until we meet again,
Amy Kelly

I love the pod cast. You could do one every day. I like hearing about the little stories on each song while you were recording them. Also, awhile there was talk about remastering and rereleasing some of those great RCA albums. Whatever happened to that? Looking forward to hearing more podcasts. Your the best.

Your song "My Life" is a a reminder of our mutual friend Bruce Shields. Looking forward to seeing you in Franklin, NC in October. Love to you and Joyce.

Ronnie-I do hope that you continue to create podcasts. What a joy to hear some background about the pieces you sing, and then to hear you singing.
I'm not sure if you remember me, but I spoke with you at the Ft Myers Airport back in April. What a great experience it was to be standing right next to you. I am from Vermont and own a dairy farm with my husband and sons.
I took the opportunity to read your biography. It sounds like you have had quite a life.
We live in a town of approximately 1,000 people in rural Vermont. (We have many more cows than people here.) If you would ever consider coming to Vermont to share your story as a Christian and maybe sing a gospel song (or two), I would feel quite honored to host you and your wife in a local bed and breakfast. (We are near Middlebury, VT) I realize that this is a "shot in the dark", but somehow I feel directed to go ahead and ask.
I know that there are a lot of people in this and the neighboring towns who would benefit from hearing how you overcame the hard start to your life and found Jesus. Perhaps you could be just the one to put a little spark back into our church.
Please reply.
Yours in Christ,
Gail Wood

I saw Ronnie in concert in Rochester, New York at the Kodak theater on the Ridge. I am visually impaired and was able to meet with Ronnie backstage and I hope he enjoys the braille book I gave him about working with people with disabilities. All of this book contains my experiences with multiple disabilities. Ronnie, thank you very much for taking time to meet me, and thanks for the great music. Ken Bremer, Rochester New York. 6-27-09

Ronnie, you're phenominal, absolutely phenominal. Have been listening to your music for a very long time. Remember driving in my car more than 25 years ago, listening to tapes when my young son, was about two year's old, sitting in his car seat, began singing along. His favorite song was "All My Roads Lead Back to You," but, his version came out, "All My 'Roast Beef' Back to You." He asked me to write you a fan letter and you responded, sending an autographed picture. He'll be 31 and still loves your music. God Bless

Ronnie and friends, I did not know about this until today. I am so glad you had a way to listen to Podcast 1.
I want you to know I have been a fan of yours from the very first. I have seen you two times in person. Both times in Bossier City, LA.
First time, a long time ago and you stood up on your piano. The last time was at Century Tel Center when you opened for George Strait. What wonderful shows you do put on.
I vote a loud and clear YES for the podcasts. Just keep them coming. I have listened to those two most all afternoon.
Pat.

Wow! This is the best. I met you at the last two fan parties (in '07 and '08) which I never thought would happen when I started listening to country music as a teenager (in New York on the legendary WHN-AM. You truly are an inspiration. Hearing you on these Podcasts is like you're talking to each of us individually (I love the comments section, too). Keep the Podcasts coming. I echo the others who love "The Future Ain't What It Used To Be." Another favorite: "It's Just A Room" from the Inside CD.

I can say that my life has been a joy for all of the music you've given us over these years Mr. Milsap. I used to get into trouble back in 1983 when I was a Country Radio DJ in Barstow California, because I would always choose your music to play over all of the rest. I've been to see your beautiful home there in Nashville. I've followed you throughout all of these years. Thank you Mr. Milsap for creating these podcasts. It's sure nice to hear your voice and know that you're still doing well. Take care. You've been a true inspiration to me my whole life.
